Heidi Merrick Summer Collection o9

Heidi's clothes are really pretty incredible and her about me states she designs for herself and believes there are girls out there like her. I admire that. That's how I feel when I write.

Love, Church and State from Portland, Oregon designers Nathaniel Crissman and Rachel Turk. Open the link for more super cute and feminine looks. Their clothes are modern designs mixed with old-fashioned touches like bias-cut ruffles, gathers, and covered buttons. I want it all.

oh my pocketbook!

Boot Village by Golden Goose. OMG I want these. I wouldn't even have a problem with grey if I had these. I have a little problem with grey boots, I don't know why. I own some and they never end up in my wardrobe. I just don't like them on my feet. but I LOOOVE these. Perfectly vintage and worn and beauteous. Also more than a months rent. What are you gonna do?

Hmmph Barney's Broke Too

Barney’s New York will be getting a bailout of at least $10 million from the government (meaning, us). This should relieve Istithmar World Capital, (the Dubai sovereign wealth fund that bought Barney’s in 2007) from some of the effects the recession is having on the retailer. The current recession has hit luxury retailers especially hard. ‘As a result of falling sales, Barneys, which still has no CEO, recently slashed 76 jobs and is facing a credit crunch from the factors that finance inventory from its vendors. One factor, Hilldun, has not approved shipments to Barneys for six weeks.’ This only has us wondering where our bailout is??

I hope the government puts some regulations onto these guys also. I think a regulation should be free fab clothes for all and a kick ass job for me!
